  • Police hunt Ocean Terminal jewellery robbers

Police are looking for two robbers - at least one of whom was wielding a knife - following a smash-and-grab raid on a luxury jewellery shop at Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The incident occurred around 7.30 pm on Wednesday.

The suspects are reported to have prized open a display cabinet and snatched jewellery and watches worth about HK$5 million before making their escape.

Dozens of police officers have been searching the surrounding area.

There have been a number of similar raids recently.

In March robbers smashed the window of a jewellery shop in Central, taking $40 million worth of goods. Three men were later arrested. Police said most of the items were recovered.
