Binance Pay has partnered with TBCASoft to enable QR code payments through the HIVEX Network, starting with a planned rollout in Japan.

The integration will initially extend HIVEX-enabled payment rails to approximately 48 million Binance Pay users, allowing eligible users to make purchases across millions of merchant locations without requiring separate bilateral integrations with individual merchant networks.

Planned for launch in the third quarter of 2026, the service connects digital payment ecosystems with local merchant acceptance infrastructure.

It supports both customer-present and merchant-present QR code payments at endpoints operated by HIVEX acceptance partners.

The partnership will scale payment acceptance across participating markets through a network-level connection.

TBCASoft’s HIVEX framework provides a federated payment infrastructure that connects licensed local acceptance partners while supporting compliance integration, including KYB and AML requirements across merchant jurisdictions.

Binance Pay will continue managing user-side controls, including identity verification, sanctions screening, and account security measures.

The structure allows both ecosystems to maintain their respective governance frameworks while enabling interoperability.

Following the initial rollout in Japan, the companies plan to explore expansion into additional markets and payment scenarios, with the potential to extend across Binance’s broader ecosystem of more than 300 million users.
