Three men and one woman will appear in West Kowloon court on Monday charged with conspiracy to murder over the killing of a 30-year-old man earlier this month. They were among seven people arrested over the weekend after the man's body was found wrapped in plastic bags at a construction site for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge.
Another of the suspects was already in detention, while the two others were released on police bail.
Two of the suspects were taken to a flat in Mong Kok on Sunday where police believe the victim was killed before being dumped near the airport.
Acting superintendent Tse Tan-san said the dead man is a 30-year-old, surnamed Siu, adding that he knew the suspects.
He said officers are still awaiting toxicology reports before they can ascertain the cause of death, but added that two injuries at the back of Siu's head had been caused by a blunt object.
Tse said on Sunday that police were still investigating the possible roles of the suspects.
But he said they believe Siu was murdered over a dispute, though did not elaborate.
