Voter Turnout Over 6 Percent In First Two Hours

In the first two hours of voting for Sunday's Legislative Council elections, 284,924 voters cast their ballots, according to the official election website.
The turnout rate by 10.30am was 6.36 percent .
At the 2016 election, 3.73 percent of voters went to the polls in the first two hours.
However, polls that year opened an hour earlier.
By 10.30am in 2016 just over 269,000 Hong Kong people had voted, a turnout rate of 7.12 percent.
