  • Tseung Kwan O Police Station attacked

Several rounds of tear gas were fired from Tseung Kwan O Police Station after it was targeted by anti-government protesters in the small hours on Sunday.

Dozens of protesters hurled projectiles at the station and set up makeshift barricades to block exits.

Several windows in the complex were also broken.

However, once police responded, protesters quickly dispersed, with some taking refuge at a residential estate opposite the police station.

When dozens of police officers arrived at the scene, they were met with water sprayed from a podium of the residential estate, Metro City Plaza.

The protesters then used the hit-and-run tactics they've developed over the past few months and melted away.
