Services on the MTR's Tseung Kwan O line have returned to normal after a signal failure at Tseung Kwan O station at about 7am on Monday brought trains to a halt on part of the routes.

Services around Tseung Kwan O and Lohas Park stations were suspended after the failure. Other services on the line were expected to terminate at intermediate stations.

Trains between Po Lam and Tiu Keng Leng ran at intervals of approximately 20 minutes, with services from Tiu Keng Leng to North Point every eight minutes.

Services gradually began to resume at about 7.30am, with only minor delays reported after that time.
