Commissioner for Transport Rosanna Law has tested positive for Covid-19, the government said on Monday.

A Transport Department (TD) spokesman said in a statement that Law last went to work on July 8, and is currently in isolation.

"She wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work, including rapid antigen tests conducted regularly. She has no recent travel history," it said.

"The TD has conducted a thorough cleaning and disinfection at the office concerned and will continue to implement disease prevention measures vigorously, including requesting staff members to conduct rapid antigen tests on a regular basis."

It added that all staff members have been reminded to pay attention to personal hygiene and stay vigilant at all times.
