Passengers using the Tsuen Wan Line face disruption this morning after the MTR said there had been an unspecified train incident near Central Station.

As a result, services on the Central to Tsim Sha Tsui section of the line will be suspended until further notice and passengers are being asked to use alternative methods of transport.

Trains on the rest of the Tsuen Wan Line, between Tsim Sha Tsui Station and Tsuen Wan Station, will run at three-and-a-half minute intervals.

The MTR announced the incident just after 4.30 am. MTR stations open just before 6 am.
