Ng Sier Han will be the next DBS Hong Kong CEO. He takes over from Sebastian Paredes, who retires from executive duties on 1 March 2027 after 16 years at the bank and will stay on as Senior Advisor.

The change is part of a three-way reshuffle announced by DBS on 13 August 2026. All appointments remain subject to regulatory approval.

 DBS CEO Tan Su Shan said regarding the appointments of Ng Sier Han as well as Lim Chu Chong as CEO of DBS Taiwan and Adrian Chai as President Director of DBS Indonesia,

“Over the past 16 years, Sebastian has played a pivotal role in transforming DBS Hong Kong into a leading franchise. Sier Han, Chu Chong and Adrian are seasoned DBS leaders with deep institutional knowledge, strong client relationships and proven track records of delivery.”

Paredes has led DBS Bank (Hong Kong) since September 2010 and has chaired DBS China since April 2023.

Ng, meanwhile, has been the CEO of DBS Taiwan since 2023 and has led the integration of Citi’s consumer business.
