Police have arrested three men for allegedly taking part in an illegal assembly during a protest against the government's "Lantau Tomorrow" project on October 14, 2018.
The suspects are aged between 18 and 28, and one of them is also alleged to have committed common assault.
Police said said officers had received reports of scuffles during a public event near government headquarters that evening.
More than two years later, officers arrested the three suspects on Wednesday morning in Hung Hom, Cheung Sha wan and Tseung Kwan O.
They will appear in Eastern Magistracy on February 18 for mention.
Thousands of people had taken part in the 2018 march from Causeway Bay to the government headquarters in Tamar, to voice their anger at the mega artificial island project proposed by Chief Executive Carrie Lam.
