Three people were taken to hospital on Sunday night after two Light Rail Trains collided at the Yuen Long stop near Long Lok road.

The incident occurred around 8.30pm, when a train on the 610 route bumped into the back of another empty departing one.

Ambulances were dispatched and three passengers were taken to hospital.

Services were disrupted for about 10 minutes.

Police are investigating the incident and both drivers have been suspended from duty.

The MTR Corporation said it was very concerned by the incident and apologised to those affected.
