Police on Thursday said they had arrested a teenager suspected of trying to drive away a bus parked up in Aberdeen.
Officers said the 17-year-old suspect reported the joyride attempt himself, shortly before 2am.
The double-decker only slid forward one metre before hitting a railing, officers said, adding that nobody was injured in the alleged incident at a bus stop in Wah Fu Road.
The teenager was suspected of taking a motor vehicle without authorisation and driving without a licence or insurance.
