Police have reclassified the death of a 21-year-old woman at a flat in Tseung Kwan O from “murder” to “dead body found”.

The woman's body was found by her mother at about 8pm on Monday evening. Police classified the case as murder after reportedly discovering wounds on the back of her head.

Bloodstains were said to be found inside the unit at Kwong Ming Court and there were also signs that the victim had been strangled.

However, officers later reclassified the case as “dead body found” without giving details.
