As of August 2026, Anchorpoint Financial has named five authorised distributors for HKDAP, its Hong Kong dollar-backed stablecoin. In doing so, institutional and professional investors can find their route into the token during its beta phase.

The Anchorpoint HKDAP authorised distributors list currently covers Finloop, Hashkey, OSL, Standard Chartered Hong Kong and Yunfeng Financial.

The rollout follows a phased approach that Anchorpoint set out. Anchorpoint’s CEO, Dominic Maffei, has shared that the first rollout phase aims to “support the development of commercial applications that demonstrate the value of regulated tokenised money in real-world settings”. This includes payments and settlement use cases.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is Anchorpoint HKDAP?

HKDAP stands for “HKD At Par.” It is a Hong Kong dollar-pegged stablecoin with a par value of HK$1, backed by a pool of reserves that Anchorpoint describes as high-quality and highly fluid.

Anchorpoint is licensed to issue HKDAP. In April 2026, the HKMA granted Anchorpoint one of the territory’s first stablecoin issuer licenses under the Stablecoins Ordinance. The other company provided with this license is HSBC Hong Kong.

Anchorpoint Financial Limited was set up in February 2025 as a joint venture between Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, HKT and Animoca Brands.

What does an authorised distributor do?

According to Anchorpoint’s website, under Anchorpoint’s B2B2C model, authorised distributors are crucial in providing users like individuals, corporates and institutions access to HKDAP.

Companies that are appointed to be authorised distributors have to be trusted access points which, for example, maintain customer-facing channels for their registered users to gain access to and convert HKDAP.

How many authorised distributors for HKDAP are there under Anchorpoint?

As of August 2026, there are five authorised distributors which have provided live access to HKDAP after Anchorpoint announced the launch of its Beta Access. These are Finloop, HashKey, OSL, Standard Chartered and Yunfeng Financial.
