This year's Miss Hong Kong Pageant is being postponed after five of the contestants came down with Covid.
Organiser TVB said in a statement that the semi-final planned for this Sunday evening will be pushed back to a later date.
The other 14 contestants will be asked to take Covid tests and rehearsals will be put on pause, the broadcaster said.
TVB said the delay to the show should give the infected participants time to recover before the contest gets underway again.
