Police on Tuesday said they had arrested seven more people in connection with the alleged murder of a 27-year-old man in Mong Kok in June.

Officers said the six men and one woman, aged between 22 and 29, were arrested at a flat in Sheung Shui on Monday and they were being detained for investigation.

The deceased was allegedly attacked in a unit in Larch Street on June 25 over a money dispute.

He was taken to hospital a few days later in an unconscious state and succumbed to his injuries on August 4.

Six others were earlier arrested in connection with the case. Two men were charged with murder and another suspect was charged with wounding. The rest were released on police bail.
