Police on Tuesday said they had arrested a second man in connection with abnormal messages sent out via TVB’s mobile app two months ago.
Officers said the 19-year-old was arrested last Wednesday on suspicion of access to a computer with dishonest intent.
He was released on bail and told to report back to the police again later this month.
In May, the broadcaster made a report to the police over a number of unauthorised push notifications that were sent out by its news app.
A TVB worker was arrested soon after the incident.
