The Highways Department says there has been a problem with water seepage at the newly built Passenger Clearance Building of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge’s boundary crossing facilities.

The department says the contractor, Leighton, is now conducting repairs and it doesn't expect the problem to delay the commissioning of the bridge later this year.

Local media have reported serious seepage problems with the roof during several heavy downpours. At least six to seven areas are thought to be affected.
