Prosecutors have dropped the case against a taxi driver who took a picture of a breastfeeding passenger with his phone and posted it online, following a top court ruling that the charge of "accessing computers with criminal or dishonest intent" cannot apply to defendants who use their own devices.

The magistrate said he hoped the defendant and the victim can now move on with their lives, as the defendant had learned a lesson from the case which had dragged on for more than a year.
