The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data on Tuesday arrested a man on suspicion of disclosing three people's personal data without consent.
This was the second arrest the office has made after a new law criminalising doxxing came into effect in October last year.
The 41-year-old suspect allegedly made public the three’s names, phone numbers, the company they worked in as well as their job titles following a business dispute.
The office said it launched a probe after receiving complaint, and officers seized a phone and a computer in the operation.
