Police Suspect Murder-suicide In Couple's Death

Police are treating the deaths of a husband and wife in Ma On Shan on Wednesday as murder-suicide.
Officers received a report around 5.30pm that a man and woman had fallen from a height at a housing estate on Ning Tai Road.
Police officers found the 61-year-old man and the 59-year-old woman lying on the podium. Both were certified dead at scene.
An Initial investigation showed the woman had been strangled before falling. A nylon rope suspected of being used in the case was later found in their flat.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted to ascertain the causes of their deaths, and police investigations are ongoing
