Police on Thursday invited people to visit an exhibition in Yuen Long designed to encourage Hongkongers to put aside their differences and stop themselves from being misled by "unfounded information".

The exhibition entitled "United We Stand" at Yuen Long Theatre will be divided into four thematic zones: "Know the Facts", "The Time Tunnel", "Police Voice" and "Gratitude From Community".

Police said officers will be present to take photos with participants.

"The exhibition aims at encouraging the community to put aside differences, not to be misled by unfounded information, and join hands with the force to build Hong Kong's future. It also demonstrates that the aspirations of the force remain unchanged. It will continue to protect people’s lives and maintain law and order in the spirit of 'Honour, Duty and Loyalty'," a statement said.

The exhibition will run from November 12 to November 16.

People will not be charged for visiting the exhibition.
