Police said they are investigating the death of a 76-year-old man in Sha Tin on Saturday.

They received a report that the man collapsed after being pushed to the floor in an elderly home in Kwong Sin Street at around 10:45am.

He was rushed to hospital with head injuries but died later that night.

Police have arrested a 74-year-old, who was also reportedly a resident of the elderly home.

A post-mortem will be carried out.
