Police said on Saturday that they've laid a holding charge of murder against a 28-year-old man.
They said the man was arrested on Thursday in connection with the death of a 23-year-old woman in a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The woman's relatives had filed a missing persons report to police, saying she'd gone missing after leaving her Sham Shui Po home on Wednesday.
The case will be mentioned at Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts on Monday morning.
