The police say a civilian member of staff at police headquarters in Wan Chai has tested preliminary positive for Covid-19. The force said she had no travel history over the past 14 days and had not come into contact with the public.

The force said she had worn a mask, when last at work on Tuesday. It said she had taken the test on Wednesday, after feeling unwell and that the preliminary results had come back on Thursday.

Police say the premises are now being disinfected.
