Health Officials have ordered residents and visitors of parts of Yuen Long and Tai Po to undergo Covid-19 tests by Friday, after traces of the coronavirus were detected in sewage samples.
More than a dozen buildings are listed in the compulsory testing notice.
They include Wah Ping House in Long Ping Estate, Yuen Long, and Kwong Lai House in Kwong Fuk Estate, Tai Po.
Meanwhile, in light of positive sewage testing results positive done in various districts, the government said rapid test kits will be handed out to residents, cleaners and property management staff in parts of Sham Shui Po and Tsing Yi, including So Uk Estate and Cheung Wang Estate.
The Home Affairs Department will also distribute rapid test kits to cleaning staff and property management staff in several districts across the city.
