Several pro-democracy lawmakers have made a report to the police, alleging that Legco security guards had illegally removed them from the legislature's chamber last Thursday.
The six lawmakers wanted to stay put in the chamber until the full council meeting next Wednesday - in an attempt to delay the vetting of the controversial extradition bill.
But the Legco Commission ordered security guards to remove them after a five-hour standoff.
One of the lawmakers who had been thrown out, Civic Party's Jeremy Tam, said the security guards have committed a crime, as the Legco Powers and Privileges Ordinance forbids anyone from assaulting, obstructing or molesting lawmakers in the chamber.
