Officials lifted overnight lockdowns in Tung Chung and Kwai Chung on Sunday morning, and said no positive cases were found.
They said they tested 890 people for Covid-19 in a lockdown of Tower 16 of Crystal Cove in Caribbean Coast after Covid cases involving a mutant strain were detected there.
Officials said they tested 1,949 people at Fu Wing House and Fu Wah House on the Tai Wo Hau Estate in Kwai Chung after a resident tested preliminary positive for a mutant strain.
Meanwhile, the government on Saturday ordered residents of Ching Fai House on the Tsz Ching Estate to undergo testing following the discovery of the virus in sewage samples from the building.
