The government will start delivering another instalment of electronic spending vouchers on Sunday.
Around 6.2 million people will be eligible for the HK$2,000 vouchers, according to Jessie Wong, the head of budget and tax policy for the financial secretary.
The final HK$3,000 worth of vouchers will be distributed later in the year.
Around 150,000 people are newly eligible for the vouchers, and they will be able to get the full amount of HK$10,000, in phases.
