A message on an online forum says some protesters are planning a new anti-extradition march on Sunday, but this time on the Kowloon side.

The message posted on the chat forum LIHKG, says they want to demonstrate in that area as many mainland tourists arrive there and they don't have access to general news about what has been going on in the SAR during the month-long protests here.

Some messages posted on the forum seem to indicate they are negotiating with the police and MTR authorities about the route of the rally.

The suggested route is from Salisbury Garden in Tsim Sha Tsui to the West Kowloon express rail station, touching some major roads in the area, which is a popular shopping destination for mainland tourists.

But the Federation of Trade Unions warned that such a march would disturb the peace in the area and clog the traffic.

Meanwhile a group called Hong Kong Mothers has called for a gathering at Chater Garden on Friday night from 7pm, to show solidarity with the young extradition bill protesters.

The group said in a social media post that it will call for the government to "listen and respond to the demands of the young and other Hongkongers".

A similar rally called by mothers attracted thousands last month. That was after Chief Executive Carrie Lam in an interview said that bowing to protesters' demands to drop the bill would be like a mother giving in to a stubborn child.
