  • 'New beginning' for HK's Khalsa Diwan Sikh temple

Hong Kong’s only Sikh temple officially reopens on Tuesday, at the conclusion of a three-day ceremony to mark the rebirth of the Khalsa Diwan in Wan Chai.

The temple, which has been at the location for more than a century, has been completely rebuilt over the past five years, and it’s not only just physically bigger – but its services will also expand to include free Cantonese classes and medical consultations.

Our reporter Natale Ching visited the new temple as it hosted its grand reopening ceremony.
