Mox Bank has launched Home Cushion Insurance, a digital home insurance product available through its mobile app and underwritten by QBE Hongkong & Shanghai Insurance.

The policy combines coverage for building structures, home contents and third-party liability, targeting renters, owner-occupiers and landlords in Hong Kong.

Available in three plans, Home Cushion Insurance provides building structure coverage of up to HKD1.5 million and home contents protection of up to HKD100,000.

Eligible customers can also receive third-party liability coverage of up to HKD10 million.

For eligible home contents claims, the policy covers the full replacement cost without depreciation deductions.

It also provides up to 28 days of simultaneous coverage for existing and new homes during relocation, along with transit protection of up to 15% of the insured sum.

Additional benefits include temporary pet boarding following major household displacement, as well as coverage for accidental death or theft of pets.

Customers can enrol directly through the Mox app using pre-filled details.

Those who enrol by 31 October 2026 may receive supermarket vouchers worth up to HKD200.

Eligible previous and existing Mox Insure customers can also qualify for additional rewards, subject to terms and conditions.
