Police said they're investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City on Saturday evening in which a 23-year-old man died.

They said that the 23-year-old man was riding a motorcycle along Argyle Street, and collided with a taxi near the junction of Peace Avenue.

They said the motorcyclist sustained serious head injuries, and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and was certified dead at 7.30pm.

Police said a 25-year-old male passenger on the motorcycle sustained minor injuries and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital.

They've appealed for any witnesses to contact them at 3661 9023.
