Authorities on Monday said they’ve found an 86-year-old man who left the Prince of Wales Hospital after testing preliminary positive for Covid-19.

In a statement, officials said Chung Chiu-ming was located at Yi Shing Square in Sha Tin in the small hours, adding that he sustained no injuries.

The hospital made a report to the police on Sunday night after the elderly man – waiting to be admitted for isolation – left the Accident and Emergency Department without notifying staff.
