Police said they're investigating a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin on Monday afternoon in which a 48-year-old man died.
They said the 48-year-old man reportedly lost control while he was driving through Tate's Cairn Tunnel heading towards Sha Tin.
They said his car hit another vehicle at 5.47pm on Monday, and he was trapped in the car before being freed by firefighters.
Police said the 48-year old was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.45pm. The other driver was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital with neck and waist injuries.
