A man is due to appear in court on Monday accused of murdering one of his flatmates in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Police were called to a unit in Haiphong Road on Thursday after being told a man had collapsed inside.

The 50-year-old was lying on a bed with injuries to his face and upper body. He was certified dead at the scene.

A 44-year-old man was arrested at the time on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs. Police later also charged him with murder.

Officers said six people lived in the flat in total and the deceased man shared a room with the suspect.

The case is to be brought before Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts.
