The police said on Saturday that they have arrested a man for allegedly wounding a fast food restaurant staff over a dispute involving the government's LeaveHomeSafe app.
Officers said they suspected the 21-year-old - believed to be suffering from mental illness - was unhappy after he was being told to use the app to be admitted to the restaurant in Wong Tai Sin on Thursday morning.
The man and a staff member then got into a quarrel, before he allegedly threw his phone at the worker's face, hurting the corner of his eye and fled.
Officers said the man was arrested on Friday, and has since been released on bail.
