Ten thousand mainland jobs and the same number of internships will be opened up to young people from Hong Kong in the coming five years, the All-China Youth Federation announced at a seminar on Thursday.
It also said 20,000 exchange places will be arranged, as well as a support hotline for people hoping to move elsewhere in the Greater Bay Area.
The internships will include placements at central government departments and state enterprises, the federation said.
Secretary general Liu Aiping said the package will help young people move to the mainland, and urged them not to miss the opportunity.
Speaking at the event, the director general of the youth department of Beijing's liaison office, Zhang Zhihua, said the measures were a "big present" from the central government.
"The biggest development opportunity for young people in Hong Kong is integrating with the country's development. The new generation's golden zone for young people and the country's strategic opportunity zone are deeply entwined with each other," Zhang said.
