One of a group of 12 Hongkongers captured as they allegedly tried to flee Hong Kong by speedboat two years ago was on Monday handed over to the SAR authorities, after finishing a prison term on the mainland.
Quinn Moon, wearing handcuffs and a black hood over her head, was seen being escorted to Tin Shui Wai Police Station.
She was wanted by Hong Kong police in connection with an alleged bomb making case.
Moon and 11 others were intercepted by the Guangdong coastguard on August 23, 2020 as they were allegedly trying to make their way to Taiwan.
All of them were detained on the mainland for crossing the border illegally.
The two youngest of them were brought back to Hong Kong at the end of 2020 and eight others returned in March last year after completing prison sentences.
Moon was given a longer jail term for organising the illegal crossing along with Tang Kai-yin, who after being sentenced to three years behind bars is the only one of the group still being held on the mainland.
The 12 faced protest-related charges in Hong Kong at the time of their alleged escape bid and some have been convicted and jailed again since their return. One of the group, Andy Li, has pleaded guilty to a national security offence in a case involving former media tycoon Jimmy Lai.
