Hongkong Post said on Friday that the Discovery Bay post office is closed and mail delivery to the community may be delayed.

It said the post office will resume operation as soon as possible, after the plaza it’s located in is disinfected and reopens.

The main plaza in Discovery Bay, DB Plaza, was included in two compulsory testing orders earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the Lands Department said all of its offices will continue to provide basic services on a limited scale, as staff members are working from home as a social distancing measure.

The Land Registry has called on people to visit its offices only if they require urgent services, as they are opening on a half-day basis and the waiting time may be longer.
