Business and Professionals Alliance legislator, Priscilla Leung, has called on the Financial Secretary to allocate more resources for the elderly in his budget on Wednesday.
And she proposed the setting-up of a residential area specifically for retirees - which could be in New Territories East or even outside of Hong Kong, in the Greater Bay Area.
The Financial Secretary has hinted that this year's budget will include more resources for the needy, including Hong Kong's ageing population.
