Health authorities on Tuesday reported a suspected Covid-19 infection that is untraceable involving a kindergarten teacher.

The teacher, 26, works in North Point and lives in Mei Foo Sun Chuen.

She last went to work at the kindergarten on January 5 and started developing symptoms on Sunday.

Authorities said she had been to a number of malls and a restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui over the weekend.

Hong Kong recorded 18 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, 11 of which are local cases.
