Global Fast Track 2025 (GFT 2025) is now open for applications from today, 28 April 2025, until 21 September 2025. This year, the programme will include other verticals besides fintech, providing business opportunities for more technology companies in Hong Kong and worldwide.
The year-long hybrid program offers participants one-on-one meetings, live pitching opportunities, mentorship, and customised business matching with corporate clients, investors, and service providers.
A separate competition track will choose semi-finalists from each vertical to pitch in person at the Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK Festival 2025 in November.
The grand finale will be held during the main conference. Shortlisted companies will also get access to exclusive networking events throughout the week to explore potential partnerships.
The Global Head of Financial Services, FinTech & Sustainability at InvestHK, Mr King Leung, shared,

“To date, the GFT has supported over 1,000 fintech companies from more than 50 economies, helping them showcase cutting-edge innovations and expedite market entry into Hong Kong and beyond.”
The Head of Startups at InvestHK, Ms Jayne Chan, added,

“I look forward to welcoming high-calibre start-ups and scaleup applicants from around the world and witnessing the remarkable outcomes this programme will deliver.”
Global Fast Track 2025 includes seven key verticals, covering fintech, artificial intelligence, greentech, blockchain and digital assets, insurtech and healthtech, innovation and technology, and mainland China track in Mandarin.
InvestHK is partnering with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation’s Global Connect Programme again this year to help start-ups grow and expand in Hong Kong.
The programme provides a holistic soft-landing package, including financial grants up to HK$100,000, access to co-working spaces, business and investment matching, one-on-one consultations for starting a business in Hong Kong, as well as training and networking opportunities.
Next, the FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific (FILAP), created by Accenture in partnership with Hong Kong Cyberport, connects growing fintech start-ups with senior executives from top financial institutions.
Since its launch, FILAP alumni have raised over US$1.1 billion in funding and developed 552 Proof of Concepts across nearly 90 companies. Global Fast Track 2025 gives applicants a chance to fast-track to the FILAP 2026 Interview Day, offering mentorship from experts and valuable connections to global financial leaders.
It offers qualified innovators a chance to present their work to thousands of attendees, as well as leading companies and investors seeking new solutions and opportunities. Past finalists have represented countries like Canada, France, Israel, China, Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US.
