Hong Kong Reports Three Imported Covid Cases

Health authorities on Saturday reported three imported Covid-19 cases.
They include a 35-year-old foreign domestic helper, who tested positive for the virus when she arrived at the airport from the Philippines on Thursday; a 23-year-old foreign domestic helper, who flew in from Indonesia last Saturday and tested positive at the quarantine camp in Penny’s Bay; and a 59-year-old man, who tested positive at the airport on Thursday, following his arrival from Germany.
All had been fully-vaccinated. Two of them tested positive for the L452R mutant strain.
Health authorities also reported fewer than five preliminary positive cases on Saturday.
Hong Kong has recorded 57 new Covid infections over the past two weeks, all of them were imported.
