Health officials on Saturday reported four new imported Covid-19 cases, all fully vaccinated and infected with the L452R mutant strain.

The new patients flew in from the UK, Turkey, the US and Indonesia.

They include a man who spent time in the UK and Turkey and a woman who stayed in the United States. Both of them took the same flight back to the SAR from Qatar.

Three patients tested positive for the virus at the airport, while a domestic helper from Indonesia tested positive during quarantine at Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi.

Health officials also reported fewer than 10 preliminary positive cases.
