Health officials on Sunday reported 8,033 new Covid-19 cases, including 503 imported infections.

The daily tally was down from the 8,874 reported on Saturday.

Another 20 patients with Covid have died.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Hospital Authority (HA), Henry Fan, tested positive for the coronavirus.

An HA spokesman said Fan last attended an event on Saturday, and is currently under isolation.
