Health officials on Wednesday reported 10,194 new Covid infections, including 164 imported cases.

The Hospital Authority said 2,870 patients were being treated in public hospitals, 15 of them in intensive care.

The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) said it has ordered class suspensions at 22 schools hit by Covid-19 infections.

Twenty-one classes at Malvern College in Tai Po were suspended for a week after dozens of pupils and teachers contracted the virus.
