Hong Kong Logs 10,076 New Covid Cases

Hong Kong on Friday recorded 10,076 new Covid infections, including 9,922 local cases.
Eleven patients with Covid, aged between 50 and 100, had died in the previous day.
At present, 2,759 Covid patients are being treated at public hospitals. The Hospital Authority said 54 are critically ill and among them 15 are under intensive care.
Health authorities also said three people have been prosecuted for flouting the health code system that requires infected people to be isolated.
Speaking at a regular press briefing, Chuang Shuk-kwan from the Centre for Health Protection urged people to avoid large cross-family gatherings during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
