Four members of the same family were remanded in custody on Monday after appearing in court over the murder of fashion influencer Abby Choi, 28, whose body was found dismembered.

The victim's ex-husband, Alex Kwong, 28, along with his brother Anthony Kwong, 31, and father Kwong Kau, 65, are charged with murder.

Alex Kwong's mother Jenny Li, 63, faces a charge of perverting the course of justice.

A Kowloon City magistrate adjourned the case to May 8, to allow for further police investigation.

Police confirmed they found Choi's head and ribs on Sunday, two days after discovering her limbs in a fridge at a village house in Lung Mei Village in Tai Po.

Some other body parts, including Choi's torso and hands, remain missing.

A fifth suspect in the case, a 47-year-old woman, was arrested on Sunday.
