A student leader in the 2014 Occupy Movement, was denied entry into Macau on Wednesday afternoon.

Law student Yvonne Leung was sent back to Hong Kong after authorities in the gambling hub claimed that there were strong signs that she would participate in events harming public order there.

In a statement, the Civic Party condemned the Macau government's decision, saying it was unreasonable and deprived Hong Kong residents of their right to travel freely.
